Dude, Where Is My Beer? is an old-school point-and-click that asks the important questions. Namely – where is the beer? Why is it not in my hand? Why is it so hard to find?

As a mustachioed beer aficionado, your quest is to find a pint of the elusive pilsner in the “confusing world of unnecessary craft beers and snobby hipsters.” To put it in other words – you are looking for beer-flavored beer.

In your search, you’ll crawl through Oslo’s finest sports bars, microbreweries, dive bars, and rock bars. Using a classic, verb-based interface (like the one you can find in Thimbleweed Park), you’ll talk to West Coast IPA and American Black Ale drinking hipsters and solve beer-related puzzles at different stages of drunkenness. I’m guessing you have to be pretty drunk to pick up a wallet you find in a pub’s toilet.

To be sure you’re sufficiently drunk, the game includes a patented Beer-o-meter that helps you keep track of your level of inebriation.

Developers Arik Zurabian and Edo Brenes promise a free beer when you wishlist Dude, Where Is My Beer? on Steam. However, I suspect the ones getting that beer are Zurabian and Brenes themselves.

Personally, I don’t drink all that much. But I do like the game’s drawn visuals, it’s humor, and its straightforward approach to beer.

Dude, Where Is My Beer? is coming to PC via Steam on November 5.
