The popular battle royale Call of Duty: Warzone aims to take the fight to mobile devices as well. The game came out in March 2019 and has since accumulated more than 75 million players, and is now following giants like PUBG and Fortnite with Warzone Mobile.

You might be wondering how we know this. Well, Activision has recently posted a new job listing looking for an Executive Producer for a project called WZM. The job description says one of the responsibilities will be to “improve upon the Warzone formula by proposing and producing mobile-specific additions and changes…”

Plus, the words “Warzone Mobile” are explicitly mentioned.

Activision has since taken down the job listing, but not before Charlie Intel managed to grab a couple of screenshots.

This isn’t Call of Duty’s first breach into the world of mobile gaming. In 2019, Activision released Call of Duty Mobile, which saw great success. It seems like the company wants to capitalize on this success even further with Warzone Mobile. It makes sense, really. We all know that PUBG and Fortnite are both huge on mobile.

Let’s just hope the mobile version won’t take as much storage space as the PC one…

As of now, Warzone Mobile hasn’t been officially announced. All we have to go on is this job listing, so things can still change. We’ll update you once Activision makes a full announcement, or something more sustainable leaks online (as these things tend to happen).
