The anticipated fantasy flight simulator 2020, also known as The Falconeer, is getting a closed beta in October- a month before its release in November.
If you’re interested in playing The Falconeer before everyone else, here’s how you can participate in the game’s closed beta.
The Falconeer is a highly anticipated RPG flight simulator where you travel across the mythical land of Ursee on the back of a giant falcon. It’s a land full of monsters, treasures, and a vast ocean, imagined by solo indie developer Thomas Sala.
Thanks to the upcoming beta, you’ll explore it a whole month before the game’s release in November.
You can already register for beta access by joining the game’s Discord channel and then filling out this registration form. Once registration is closed, participants will be chosen randomly.
According to the FAQ posted on the Discord channel, The Falconeer beta is only available on PC through Steam. It will include a section from the beginning of the game, featuring a series of locations to explore, enemies to fight, and missions to undertake. That should give you an idea of what to expect when the full game launches.
The Falconeer is due in November and will come out on Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC. You can wishlist the game on Steam now, but don’t forget to enlist for the closed beta.
