Twelve Minutes, the interactive thriller about a man stuck in a time-loop, stars three Hollywood actors that any movie would love to have.

The Annapurna Interactive title features the voice talents of James McAvoy (It Chapter 2, Split), Daisy Ridley (The Star Wars sequel trilogy, Murder on the Orient Express) and four-time Academy Award nominee Willem Dafoe (If you don’t where Dafoe starred before, I don’t think we can be friends).

“I’m thrilled to have this incredibly talented cast bring the nuanced and complex characters of Twelve Minutes to life,” said Twelve Minutes director Luis Antonio. “This experience blends the mediums of film and games, and these extraordinary actors are perfect for the challenge of delivering a new twist on the thriller genre.”

Twelve Minutes revolves around a couple’s romantic evening, interrupted by a mysterious and violent intruder. The man tries to stop the attacker, only to get knocked out. When he comes to, he finds himself back to the start of the evening, stuck in a loop of 12 minutes.

Your role, as the player, is to help the man change the horrible outcome of the evening, and break the loop.

As you may have already guessed, James McAvoy voices “the man,” Daisy Ridley voices “the woman,” and Willem Dafoe is, naturally, “the intruder.”

Twelve Minutes is set to launch soon for PC, Xbox Series X and Xbox One.
