The frantic shooter Gonner 2 is getting a four-player local co-op party mode.
Publisher Raw Fury announced the new game mode during Nintendo’s latest Indie world showcase with a really short segment that shows two-player co-op. We have more co-op mayhem for you in the form of a gif.
In case you’re not familiar with it, you should know Gonner 2 is an intense messy, action-platformer with roguelike elements.
According to the developer Art of Heart, Gonner 2 is a game “for the brave, the bold and the tad bit whimsical.” You will have to have a lot of patience, nerves of steel, and ninja-like reflexes to handle it.
You once again play as Ikk, and now death is the one who needs his help. A mysterious presence has taken over her lair, and she wants Ikk to take it down. You will accompany the hero as he plunders dark and chaotic places.
The game has a non-linear level structure that changes drastically every time you play. The levels are loaded with extreme challenges, as action platformers tend to be. You will beat dangerous bosses and discover secrets as you advance, and, of course, collect heads, guns, and upgrades you can combine and vanquish your enemies.
Gonner 2 is set to release in Q4 2020 for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch.
