If you were wondering whether we’ll get to see Bounty Battle this year after developer Dark Screen Games delayed it from July 2020 to an unknown date – you’re in luck. The latest update reveals the game’s new release date: September 10, 2020.

In Bounty Battle, you’ll play to determine which indie game universe is the best, by smashing every champion in your way. You’ll see 30 characters from beloved indie games such as Guacamelee!, Death’s Gambit, Darkest Dungeon, Blasphemous, and Dead Cells, each with a unique set of skills and attacks.

Of course, there are multiple game modes in Bounty Battle, most of them support 1-4 player simultaneously. Play alone or with friends in Tournament, Versus, Challenge Mode, or hone your skills in Tutorial and Training Room. In addition, there is a variety of 16 different arenas to choose from, many of them are taken from one of the featured indie universes.

If you fancy physical copies, Battle Bounty will also have a special edition with some sweet stuff, such as enamel pins featuring fighters Atlas, Lazarus, Lilith, and Tyran, and a hard-copy character guide.
