Do you miss the thrill of finding Waldo? Spending hours analyzing colorful pictures of crowds in the hopes of spotting his stripy shirt? I didn’t either, at first. But after seeing the Hidden Through Time gameplay trailer, I think maybe I do?

Watch Crazy Monkey Studios’ fourth-dimensional hidden object game in action below, and let me know if you feel the same.

Hidden Through Time is a cute game of hide-and-seek through history and the ages. The “four great” ages, to be specific.

I’m not sure which ages these are exactly, but from watching the gameplay trailer and going through the screenshots, I think we’re talking about prehistoric times, Ancient Egypt, the Dark Ages, and the Wild West.

When you reach a new era, you need to find various items to advance through time. All you have to go on are cryptic hints, but if you’re a “Where’s Waldo” veteran, I’m sure you won’t have any problems figuring them out.

However, you might want to take the time to explore. Every colorful level is hand-drawn and contains a multitude of secrets and hidden treasures.

Once you’ve beaten every challenge Hidden Through Time throws at you, you can concoct your own. The game comes with a map editor that will allow you to create imaginative levels and share them with the world. Naturally, that also means you can discover new scenes made by the online community and keep challenging yourself to find everything that’s hidden through time.

Hidden Through Time is coming March 12, on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC and Mac through Steam. The game will also be available on iOS and Android devices for a slightly lower price.
