Up until now, Code: Realize Guardian of Rebirth was only available on Nintendo Switch in Japan. Now, the Switch port finally comes out in the west, and gamers worldwide can play this visual novel.
Code: Realize Guardian of Rebirth is a visual novel that follows the lonely Cardia. Cardia lives in solitude in a steampunk version of 19th century London due to a mysterious condition that makes her blood toxic and her touch lethal.
Poor Cardia is considered a monster in the intolerating eyes of the people who choose to fear and boycott her. She finds herself pursued by the Royal Guard until an infamous thief, Arsène Lupin, rescues her. She then joins him on a journey to figure out who she is and understand her existence.
On this journey, Cardia and Arsène will meet many characters, some of them are well-known in western literature (Victor Frankenstein, for example).
Guardian of Rebirth is already available in two versions. The collector’s edition includes the game, an art book, an acrylic keychain, and the soundtrack CD. The standard version is available in both physical and digital versions.

Code: Realize Guardian of Rebirth is out since 2014, since its early days on PS Vita. The game and its sequel, Code: Realize Future Blessing, were later released for PlayStation 4 as a bundle named Code: Realize Bouquet of Rainbows.
As mentioned, the game is already out for you to purchase. If you enjoy it, you might be happy to know that a sequel will be released in April 2020.
