ScourgeBringer is coming to Early Access in early February

ScourgeBringer, an action platformer described as “Dead Cells meets Celeste” is entering Early Access on February 6.

The game will be available through both Steam and Xbox Game Pass for PC.

The announcement came from developer Flying Oak Games and publisher Dear Villagers, who celebrated the momentous occasion with the new Early Access trailer you can watch above.

ScourgeBringer follows a hero named Kyhra who is tasked with uncovering the secrets of an Eldritch monolith threatening to end her world. Armed with a blade and her trusty combat drone, Kyhra hacks, slashes and shoots her way through ever-changing environments and dungeons.

Thrilling boss fights, ancient machines, ghosts, and secrets await you in the infinite depths beneath the monolith.

The highly anticipated rogue-platformer combines fluid controls, ariel combat, roguelike elements, amazing pixel graphics, and a punchy soundtrack by Joonas Turner (Nuclear Throne, Downwell, Broforce).

While ScourgeBringer is in Early Acces, it will feature an in-game feedback system for gathering players’ reactions. Flying Oak Games will regularly post updates throughout the Early Access period, so if you’re interested you can follow them on Twitter.
