The turn-based, tactical stealth game, Alder’s Blood, has achieved 100% on Kickstarter, two weeks before the final deadline.

Developer Shockwork Games was seeking $12,000 in the current campaign after they failed to raise the vastly larger sum of $60,000 in a previous one.

“You all are amazing! I don’t know if I can ever thank you enough” Lead Developer Michał Bernat wrote in a recent community update. “It was a long journey for the whole team, very often a difficult one. But right now we can all agree that it was totally worth it. Everything is starting to come together and it’s just breathtaking (pun intended). Thank you all again and see you on the hunt!”

Shockwork Games were are so grateful, they decided to spoil us with a free demo. You can download the demo from the game’s Kickstarter page.

Alder's Blood gameplay

Alder’s Blood is coming to PC and Nintendo Switch towards the end of 2019. The developers hope to raise enough money in the remaining two weeks to port the game to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One as well.

The first stretch goal of $13,000 is already secured, adding a new vampiric enemy with the ability to blind hunters. If you enjoy Victorian horror and tactical strategy, you still have time to back the crowdfunding campaign and help make this game the best it can be.

If you want to follow the development process, you can do so via Twitter, Facebook, and Discord. Or you can check out the official website.
