KING Art Games and Deep Silver revealed the release date of Iron Harvest, the highly anticipated classic RTS.
The real-time strategy title will bring its single-player and co-op campaigns, competitive multiplayer, and plenty of free DLC on September 1, 2020.
Iron Harvest takes place in 1920, right after the “Great War to end all wars,” but with a Diesel-Punk twist. Motorized war machines take part in the fighting, and they look incredibly cool and terrifying at the same time.
That’s because they are based on the work of Polish artist Jakub Rozalski. If his work seems familiar, it might be because Iron Harvest was originally announced in 2016 as 1920+. Or maybe you’ve just seen his work online.
The story follows three factions: Polania, Saxony Empire, and Rusviet. Each side has its own units, war machines, and heroes that grant a bit of an edge on the battlefield. You’ll plan your tactic, utilize the line-of-sight system to get into cover when needed, and use all that is necessary to stand up to those who try to destabilize fragile Europe.
Iron Harvest comes out September 1, 2020, on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
It’s quite a departure from KING Art Games’ previous title, Black Mirror, a less-than-mediocre adventure game.
