I’ve had my current gaming chair for quite some time now and had no real plans to replace it any time soon. However, after building and sitting in one of the EwinRacing Champion Series chairs for the last two weeks, I’ve definitely changed my mind.

The EwinRacing Champion arrives in a pretty sizable box, so be ready to make some space when you start assembling it. But don’t worry too much, because building the chair is quick and easy, and the instructions are more straightforward than an IKEA cabinet. They even include a pair of handy white gloves to help with assembling the chair.

The total build time is between 15-20 min, and there’s an official video installation guide online if you need any further assistance.

The Champion edition chair has some pretty cool features. It offers 4D adjustable armrests, which allow for the more precise positioning that fit your needs when gaming or working.  The armrests support vertical and horizontal, clockwise, counterclockwise as well as height adjustments.

The chair also offers tilt and height controls for a fully adjustable backrest that goes from 85 to 155 degrees – that is far enough back that you could take a nap if you need a break.  I did find that tilting the chair back could be very stiff, even after loosening the tilt-tension control. I’m sure this will become easier with use over time as the joints loosen up a little, but for now, it makes pushing the backrest back harder than it should be.

Ewin builds their chairs with a very solid metal frame, high-density memory foam, and a standard but very comfortable polyurethane Leather which, on this chair, is surprisingly soft. The backrest and seat both have a breathable diamond cross stitch. It all makes the Champion Series very comfortable to sit on for long hours of both gaming or work.

This chair also has a large adjustable lumbar pillow which I find to be more comfortable than the smaller ones in most gaming chairs I tried over the years. However, I wasn’t too impressed with the neck pillow, which is on the smaller side and lacks the appropriate support.

The EwinRacing Champion Series Gaming Chair is a definite winner, with the build quality and comfort you won’t find in other cheap gaming chairs. Opening the box and be up and running in about 30 min is fantastic, and I really like how this chair molds to your body as your sitting for long hours. I wish the neck pillow were slightly larger, and the armrest didn’t have that plastic feel, but that wouldn’t stop me from getting this sturdy chair.
