Snakebyte, a boutique gaming company based in Germany, has announced a new premium gaming headset – Head:Set Pro. This new gaming headset aims to deliver a high-end experience, but with a reasonable price tag.

The new headset supports a 7.1 virtual surround, assisting gamers at pinpointing accurately where the sound comes from in a hectic online game. They allow for maximum customization of bass and treble levels using a simple USB, connected to your PC, or any other console.

The Head:Set Pro is equipt with 50mm Neodymium Drivers, designed specifically to give gamers the winning edge they need to finish top place. These luxury earcups are covered in memory foam that, besides being comfortable, provides you with passive noise cancellation technology, keeping gamers immersed solely in the game.

The headset also has a built-in boom microphone, though the official announcement didn’t specify anything about it. The only information we get is that is has a designated LED the signals if it’s muted or not.

“We’re pleased to continue building our range with the new Head:Set Pro PC, a premium gaming headset created for the savvy PC gamer who wants it all,” Says Marc-Alexander Knipschild, Head of Marketing for Snakebyte. “We believe the Head:Set Pro PC sets a new standard for quality and value and look forward to expanding our footprint in the gaming audio sector.”

The price of the Head:Set Pro hasn’t been unveiled yet, but if we follow Snakebyte’s line of thought, we can assume that a “quality headset without the overinflated price tag” won’t cost you an arm and a leg.

So all there’s left for us to do is to wait and see if the Head:Set Pro delivers on Snakebyte’s promise. If we ever get a chance to review them, you’ll be the first people to know.
