After years of waiting, fans finally get a proper trailer for Psychonauts 2.
The much-anticipated sequel follows returning protagonist Razputin Aquato, a gifted acrobat with psychic powers, right after he joins the Psychonauts (if you don’t know what the Psychonauts are, you should better play the original game right now. It’s really good.
But not all is well in the Psychonauts’ home base – The Motherlobe. A mole has infiltrated the organization and is planning to resurrect history’s most cruelly powerful psychic villains. Raz must dive into the history of the Psychonauts, and that of his own family, to fight the demons of their past.
We don’t see a lot about the story from the game’s debut trailer, but we do get to see some old and new faces and enjoy that game’s unique visual style. Also, is you stick until the end, you’ll get a glimpse of one of the villains in Psychonauts 2.
Psychonauts 2 is set to release in 2019, on PC, PlayStation 4 Xbox One, and possibly the Switch.
