We’ve been waiting for Call of Cthulhu for over three years.

We were pretty intrigued by it when we learned it was officially connected to Chaosium’s pen and paper RPG. Then we saw it at Gamescom 2017 and got really excited.

Call of Cthulhu release date

Now, publisher Focus Home Interactive announced the final release date (we hope) for this insane narrative RPG game. You’ll be able to lead private investigator Edward Pierce along the “razor’s edge of madness” starting October 30 – just in time for Halloween.

To get you in the mood for some fine Lovecraftian horror, we have four new Call of Cthulhu screenshots from you. You can see the first one above, and the rest at the end of this article.

They are all very… green.

October 30 is still a long wait from now. Till then, we’re hoping to get another glimpse at the terrifying web of conspiracies, cultists, and cosmic horrors that is the island of Darkwater during Gamescom 2018, starting August 21.

Call of Cthulhu releases for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 30.

You can already pre-order the game on PC through Steam or HumbleBundle and enjoy a 10% discount. PS4 and Xbox One pre-orders are also available through Amazon.
