It’s been a while since we’ve seen anything new from Kingdom Come: Deliverance. So getting a new Kingdom Come: Deliverance gameplay video is quite the occasion.

The new video is titled “Great Haste Makes Great Waste”, but that doesn’t really tell you much about what’s in it. The best thing you can do to remedy that is to just watch the video.

So the gameplay video follows the player character as they go on a secret mission to scout out a bandit camp. After a short ride and a shorter combat encounter, the focus shifts entirely to stealth. We learn that dark cloths help you stay hidden under the cover of darkness and that enemies don’t like to be stabbed from behind.

While the player infiltrates the camp, they stop to add poison to a nearby pot full of beans. It’s a nice, quiet way to thin out the bandits’ numbers.

If you don’t want to use stealth, you can also find a lone guard, take him out and wear his armor as a disguise. There’s a skill check involved in there somewhere, though I’m not really sure what skill. Hungarian perhaps?

Finally, once the camp is thoroughly scouted, we move on to the action bits. The player takes part in a raid and hacks his way through waves of enemies. This isn’t something you can do on your own, so having a small army at your side is a great help.

The video demonstrates combat using a sword and a bow. The bow seems especially hard to master, as there are no crosshairs to help you aim. Just you and your skill.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is a very interesting game you can definitely sink your teeth in, although I have to admit it also looks kind of exhausting to play. Like the title of the video suggests – you have to take things really slowly if you want to survive in the Bohemia of 1403, and that’s not for everybody.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is out February 13, 2018, for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
