Konami has announced the official Metal Gear Survive release date.
The first Metal Gear game without Hideo Kojima’s involvement will be released on February 20 in the US, and February 22 in Europe.
Announcement came through Konami’s Twitter account. The banner that accompanied the announcement shows the bonuses one can get if they pre-order the Survival Bonus Pack.
These bonuses include four gold-plated weapons: bat, sledgehammer, survival machete, and survival spear, 2 additional gestures: happy, and thumbs up, 4 metallic survival scarves: purple, green, blue, and silver, “Kabuki” face paint, the orange Boxman accessory, and a Mother Base nameplate.
Oddly enough, the banner only shows the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One logos and box art. Does this mean the PC version won’t be released on the same date, or that you can only pre-order the Survival Bonus Pack on consoles? Currently there’s no definitive answer.
Right now, let’s say Metal Gear Survive will be released on PlayStation 4, Xbx One and PC in February. We’ll update you if there’s a change of plans.
