Warner Bros. is not making a new Batman Arkham game, according to Kevin Conroy.
Kevin Conroy is mostly known for being the voice of Batman in the legendary Batman: The Animated Series. He also played the Caped Crusader in most of the Batman Arkham games, expect for Batman: Arkham Origins.
Conroy revealed the news at the Nashville Wizard World Comic Con. A fan asked if he knows whether “they” are doing any more Arkham games, or are there any kind of expansions planned. The answer was a resounding “No”.
“You know, I can’t believe that they’re not going to do another one, but they’re not. Isn’t that amazing?” Conroy told the audience. “It’s… they made literally billions of dollars on those games. But… no, there’s no plan to do another one. Sorry.”

Conroy was specifically talking about the Arkham series, so there’s still a chance either Rocksteady or Warner Bros. Montreal are working on a new Batman series. There’s also the possibility Warner Bros. has plans Conroy isn’t aware of.
However, I think its time Rocksteady moved on to our games and franchises. I would be interesting to see how this great studio tackles some new materiel, don’t you think?
