Jurassic World Evolution will let you create your own dinosaur tourist trap.

It’s a management game, where you create and manage the operations of your own Jurassic World theme park. The park will spend the Isla Nublar island, but can also reach nearby islands in the Muertes Archipelago.

You will be able to bioengineer new dinosaur breeds and construct attractions. You will also need to invest in containment and research facilities if you want to avoid turning all the visitors into dino feed. Though since this is a Jurassic World, you know it is bound to happen eventually. You know, because “life finds a way”.

Naturally, Jurassic World Evolution is based on the Jurassic World films, and is part of the “official Jurassic World mythology”. I don’t think it will lead into the upcoming Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom movie though, since there doesn’t seem a be a linear storyline here.

Right now, information about the game is pretty scarce. Apart from the trailer and a short statement from Frontier Developments, we don’t have much to go on. If you want to be the first to know more, you can subscribe to the game’s mailing list on the official site.

Jurassic World Evolution will be available summer 2018, on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom will hit theaters in June 2018.
