Do you want to see the Uncharted: The Lost Legacy gameplay demo that was shown at E3 2017? Good, because we have it right here. Just play the video above and enjoy.
This gameplay footage wasn’t shown on Sony’s E3 stage, but in the convention itself.
Just to give you a bit of context: in the video, Chloe and Nadine are looking for the golden Tusk of Ganesh. This ancient artifact is supposedly the god’s broken left tusk that fell to earth.
Our intrepid adventurers tracked down the artifact to the ruins of the lost Hoysala Empire. As you can see, someone beat them to the punch, and the place is crawling with men with guns.
The someone, by the way, is Asav – the leader of an Indian rebel group and the game’s main antagonist. We don’t know why he is looking for the Tusk, but Sony makes it perfectly clear he will “stop at nothing to ensure he gets to it first.”
Watching the gameplay, you can see why Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is considered an expansion to Uncharted 4, and not a standalone title. There are lot of similar gameplay mechanics, like the grappling hook, sliding and AI companion. However, I think the game looks slightly better than the previous one.
There are also plenty of shooting, explosions and cinematic moments, but The Lost Legacy wouldn’t be Uncharted without them.
I enjoyed this Uncharted: The Lost Legacy gameplay footage. Kinda made me want to go back and play Uncharted 4 again, before the expansion is released on August 22.
Maybe I’ll do just that…
