The new Middle-earth: Shadow of War trailer is all about the game’s open world. Since Shadow of War takes us beyond the borders of Mordor, there are going to be plenty of new places to explore and eventually conquer.
We see some of these locations in the video, and also some of the battles protagonist Talion and his army go through to take them.
Shadow of War will takes us to places such as Cirith Ungol, Gorgoroth and the Island of Nurn. We will even visit the Gondorian city of Minas Ithil, right before it is taken by the Witch King and its Ringwraiths, and turned into the dark stronghold Minas Morgul.
Actually, Talion will fight to protect Minas Ithil from the Witch King, and we will witness first-hand how the city changes from its white, luminous design to the broken and twisted Minas Morgul during the course of the game.
Middle-earth: Shadow of War will be released August 25 for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Project Scorpio.
