SCUF Gaming continues to improve our gaming experience with the launch of two new lines of controllers for PC and PlayStation 4 – SCUF Impact and SCUF Infinity 4PS Pro.
Both controllers can be played while connected to your platform of choice via USB cable or through a wireless Bluetooth connection. The Impact have a new cable retention system that ensure the USB cable is firmly secure to the controller. This is is aimed at competitive gamers who prefer to have wired controllers overall, mostly to prevent syncing issues.
The list of additional features is a long one. New paddles that improve both durability and comfort, an ergonomic and sleek design for a better grip during gameplay, and a security Ring Lock system that prevents the interchangeable thumb sticks from falling off the controller. Quick Shift Trigger Stops reduce movement past the activation point, which is especially perfect for games such as Titanfall 2 or Call of Duty. There are even more features that make professional gaming all the more accessible for gamers everywhere, including adjustable hair triggers, and electromagnetic remapping (EMR) that allows players to quickly assign the back paddles to any face button.
The SCUF Infinity PS4 PRO pricing starts at $129.95 / €129.95 / £99.99, while the SCUF Impact is priced at $139.95 / €139.95 / £109.99. Both controllers are compatible with the PC and PlayStation 4, and are available starting today.
With such an extensive list of features, I believe the new SCUF Gaming controllers can offer a great alternative for gamers who want to “go pro”. Easily programmable paddles, customized thumbsticks with up to 5 different options, and responsive triggers are an edge every eSports player is looking for.
We’ll soon put the SCUF Impact and SCUF Infinity 4PS Pro to the test, so come back to see what we think after we try them out, in our full review.
