I’m pretty much sold on Prey at this point. I loved both Dishonored and Dishonored 2, and I’m definitely going to play anything new that comes out of Arkane Studios.
However, Bethesda is still sure I need some more convincing. Over the last couple of days, the publisher has released 3 new videos of Prey, showing new gameplay and revealing more information about the game. But I had enough – I’m not going to watch them. From this point on, every video of Prey I watch is just going to spoil some other aspect of the game for me; reveal something new I wished I could learn while playing the actual game. So no more!
Those of you who don’t share my strong feelings can watch the 3 new videos right here. The first is about the ways you can combines your weapons and special powers, the second is a dev diary about these same powers, and the last is about the Neuromod Research Division, or the people who developed those devices you stick into your eye to gain new powers.
At least that’s what I figured these videos are about from their titles and descriptions. As I said, I haven’t watched them. If you’re still on the fence about Prey, maybe Bethesda will finally convert you with these videos. Or maybe not.
Prey is out May 5 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
