Drawn to Death is a new multiplayer game by The Bartlet Jones Supernatural Detective Agency (quite the mouthful). What so special about it? Well, apart from the unique visual design it is also the first game David Jaffe has made in 5 years.

You may know David Jaffe as the creator of such franchises as God of War and Twisted Metal. Now, he is back to do what he does best – creating stylised, super violent games on the PlayStation console.

If you already peeked in the video above, you know Drawn to Death is a competitive third-person deathmatch shooter for up to 4 players, taking place entirely in a high-school teenager’s sadistic imagination; more precisely – their notebook.

When the game will launch on April 4, 2017, it will feature 6 different characters, 26 weapons and 6 game modes. Here’s the official description of each mode:

Organ Donor: In this objective based mode, Players must shoot the heart out of an enemy’s chest. Then take the heart to a stationary base for 1 point. Take the heart to a moving base for 2X points! First Player to 20 points wins!

Classic Deathmatch: First to 10 kills wins.

Classic Team Deathmatch: First team with 20 kills wins.

Core Deathmatch: First Player to 5 points wins. 1 kill = 1 point, but every time you die you lose a point. (Defense matters!)

Core Team Deathmatch: Same as Core Deathmatch, but for teams. First team to 10 points wins.

Brawl: In this mode, levels get smaller on the fly to create a more intense one-on-one battle/fighting game experience!

Drawn to Death comes out April 4, exclusively on PlayStation 4.
