Fans from all over the world can now enter the Louisiana plantation house in Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. If you want to catch a glimpse of what’s waiting inside, you can watch the official Resident Evil 7 launch trailer, released today alongside the full game.
It doesn’t look good for Resident Evil 7’s protagonist Ethan Winters, who arrived at Dulvey, Louisiana in search of his missing wife. While we have no idea if he’ll end up reunited with her, we do know he encounters the mysterious Baker family, who are not pleasant people. The trailer also hints at other locations Ethan will explore, and more enemies he will face, but the only way to know for sure is playing the game (or, you know, what someone else play it on the Internet if you’re too scared to do it yourself).
Capcom also shares a bit of information regarding the game’s upcoming DLC. First, on January 31, PlayStation 4 players will get Banned Footage Vol. 1 (PC and Xbox One players will have to wait till February 21). It will include two new chapters and an extra mode. Banned Footage Vol. 2 will unlock on PlayStation 4 on February 14 (February 21 for PC and Xbox One), and will also add two new scenarios and an additional mode.
After these two piece of DLC are released, an additional story episode, Not a Hero, will be released for free to all players in spring 2017. There we will play through a separate storyline with a new main character.
Resident Evil 7: Biohazard is available now on Pc, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
