Little Nightmares, the eerie indie horror platformer, has been given an official release date.
The release date is revealed at the end of the new trailer above, so you’ll have to watch protagonist Six die about nine unpleasant times to find out. Or you can just read on.
Little Nightmares will be released for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on April 28, 2017.
You can per-order a digital version right now and receive the Scarecrow Sack and the Upside-down Teapot in-game masks that should help Six blend in with the inhabitants of The Maw. If you pre-order the PS4 version, you’ll also get an exclusive theme, while the PC version will come with a wallpaper featuring The Janitor. Both will receive the game’s original soundtrack in digital format as well.
A physical version of the game will be available at all “good video game retailers”, with a special collector’s edition available exclusively through GAME in the UK. This Six Edition includes a small Six figurine, the original soundtrack, an exclusive A3 poster, a sticker board and the game itself.
Little Nightmares is about Six, a little girl in a yellow raincoat, who’s trapped in an awful prison called The Maw. With nothing but her lighter, Six must survive The Maw’s deadly puzzles and hungry residents.
You’ll be able to help Six come April 28, on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
