The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will launch simultaneously on Nintendo Switch and Wii U on March 3, 2017. That’s the same date the Switch is scheduled to hit the market, so it’s safe to say Breath of the Wild is a Switch launch title.
So the rumors claiming the new Zelda will miss the Switch launch date were wrong. Well, that’s why they are called rumors, I guess. These are actually very good news for Nintendo fans how own a Wii U, since they will be getting their promised “Zelda U” after all, alongside the Switch version.
Breath of the Wild was first teased in 2014, but viewing the latest trailer, shown during the Nintendo Switch presentation, makes the wait worth while, don’t you think?
