The Switch isn’t out yet, nor did we get to see exactly what it can do, but it might have already pulled in a huge exclusive from Ubisoft. According to a recent rumor, Beyond Good and Evil 2 will be exclusive to the Switch for 12 months before releasing on other platforms.

This new rumor comes from a tweet by Laura Kate Dale, editor of Let’s Play Video Games. The tweet also states that PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will only receive a digital copy of BG&E2, with Switch will have both digital and physical copies available. She didn’t include any information about a PC version.

In a second tweet, Dale has claimed that Nintendo is planning on showing a teaser for Beyond Good and Evil 2 at the end of their Switch event next week, on January 12.

Bear in mind that Beyond Good and Evil 2 has been officially announced yet, and these is all rumors coming from one source. We’ll have to wait till January 12 to see if the game is indeed a Switch exclusive – timed or otherwise.
