Rebellion has released a new trailer for Sniper Elite 4, this time about sniping legend Karl Fairburne, his “usual skill set” and his past. If remember correctly, this is actually the first time he learn any thing about Karl’s past, though I never did pay attention to the story in previous Sniper Elite games.
Although he was born in Germany, Karl’s family moved to Washington D.C., which explains why he speaks with an American accent. Somehow he was recruited to the British Special Operation Executive (or SOE), and the rest is gaming history.
The video itself is pretty light on story and details, but we are assured that Italy, the setting of Sniper Elite 4, will be Karl’s greatest challenge. Sounds promising.
Sniper Elite 4 is scheduled for February 14, 2017, on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
