Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 is still some a few months away, but CI Games has some new gameplay footage to share with us. This time, it’s a new mission walkthrough, titled Slaughterhouse.
The Slaughterhouse mission takes place, where else, in a slaughterhouse deep in the Georgian mountains. A group of separatists has turned it into a site for disposing bodies, and are holding an American prisoner there who is in dire need of a rescue. Protagonist and sniper extraordinaire Jonathan North is just the man for the job.
In the video, we see Jon preparing his gear for the mission, which includes a state-of-the-art aerial drone that can hack security cameras and mark enemies on your HUD. It comes in useful when you want to scout the area or even peek inside locked rooms and locate targets.
Other than the new drone, Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 plays a lot like previous games in the series, only with much more freedom. We also see a new interrogation system that can reveal information about the mission’s objective and who to complete them. In this case, it’s a keycard that opens the door of the prisoner’s cell.
There a few other new systems and mechanics, like a most-wanted list, day-night cycle and kill chains, so watch the gameplay video to see everything there is to see.
Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 will launch on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on April 4, 2017.
