Telltale Games revealed gave us an extended look at The Walking Dead – A New Frontier during The Game Awards this evening, with a video showing a little bit of Javier’s back story.
Javier is one of the playable characters in this season, alongside returning heroine Clementine.
Apart from the video, Telltale has also announced that the series will premiere on December 20, with not one but two episode released simultaneously. This is the first time Telltale are doing something like that, which kind of makes me wonder if there’s a special reason behind it. The season as a whole will contain 5 episodes, as usual, so this isn’t an extra episode.
It could be cause of the Season Pass Disc that will be released February 14 on PS4 and Xbox One. Maybe the publisher wants us to have more than one episode to play through while we wait for the rest.
The Walking Dead – New Frontier’s Episode 1 and Episode 2 will be digitally released December 20 on PC, consoles and mobile devices. If you pre-order it on PlayStation 4, you’ll receive free copies of The Walking Dead: Season Two and The Walking Dead: Michonne.
