What would have happened if id Software had decided to make DOOM a 2D sidescroller instead of a “3D” first-person shooter? Well, thanks to MiniDOOM you don’t have to wonder.
MiniDOOM was made by Calavera as part of a GameMaker Studio course. It’s a “very short parody game” based on the original DOOM, and it’s indeed short, so don’t expect a full experience.
However, it’s also free, so you can download it right now and give it ago; it’s only 11MB.
