After becoming one of the top suppliers of eSports gaming accessories, the manufacturers at Fnatic Gear have announced their first official “eSports-grade” gaming equipment: the Clutch G1 optical gaming mouse and the Duel TMA-2 headphones.
At first glance, these new accessories may not appear as high tech as that of other competitors, but as is usually the case with gaming hardware, it is what’s on the inside that matters.
The biggest example of this is the Clutch G1. This gaming mouse comes in a matte plastic housing with a layout of 6 buttons and a hardwired cable. However, underneath its relative mundane exterior, is the Pixart 3310 optical sensor which works to increase accuracy even under a barrage of button clicks.
The ergonomic design is built for right-handed gamers and features soft touch padding on all of the buttons to prevent any discomfort or game disruptions. Adding to the mouse’s overall efficiency is the ability to upload 3 different gaming profiles that can easily be switched between so that professional players can choose a layout for offense, defense or just different games.
Given the low price of $69.99, it should be fairly obvious (even with the programmable RGB color illumination) that the Clutch G1 isn’t designed to have tons of features. Instead, it focuses on preforming core mechanics flawlessly.
Fnatic Gear also achieved a similar aesthetic with their $199.99 Duel TMA-2 headset. Fnatic has partnered with Danish Audio developers, AIAIAI, to create the sleek new design, with a more modular twist.
The Duel TMA-2 features two 40mm titanium-coated drivers that lay beneath the player’s choice of noise-canceling over-ear pads or padded on-ear cups. Although smaller than the 53mm diameter that is necessary for true surround sound quality, the drivers are intended to create high quality audio that ranges from team vocals to amazing music.
The headset comes with a removable boom microphone for gaming, plus an in-line mic for when you’re walking about. Thanks to the standard 3.5mm headphone jack, the Duel TMA-2 will work with PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and most mobile devices.
Both the Duel TMA-2 headset and the Clutch G1 optical gaming mouse will be available in late November. Some of our posts include links to online retail stores. We get a small cut if you buy something through one of our links. Don't worry, it doesn't cost you anything extra.
