Steep will be launching into open beta on the weekend of November 18, until Monday, November 21. The open beta will be available on all three platforms – PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

An early access beta will run between November 10 to November 14. If you register on steepgame.com, you’ll get a chance to get into the early access beta. However, with the open beta starting just a few days later, you might not want to go to through the trouble of registering, and just wait a bit. Unless you’re a really big fan of digital snowboarding, that is.

The beta will allow players to ride “dozens of challenges” through three of the seven regions that compose Steep’s version of the Alps: the Aravis, the Tyrol and the Needles. Players who are looking for a more structured experience will find nine Mountain Stories, narrative-based contests that will provide a deeper look at some unique moments in the world of Steep. Completing challenges and Mountain Stories will unlock new gear players can use to customize their characters.

Steep will be released in full on December 2, for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
