Kingdom Hearts 3 has recently released two screenshots and a series of tweets, teasing two new Drive Forms Sora will be able to use. These are the Guard Form and Power Form.
The Guard Form transforms the Herc’s Shield keyblade in a, well, shield Sora can use.
The second new Drive Form, the Power Form, uses a keyblade from a world that hasn’t been announced yet, so the image below was edited to hide it. The glowing hammer that you see below is not be the final look of the weapon, but it does show the way Sora will be using it – just like a hammer. I’m willing to bet this hidden keyblade will end up being very similar to a hammer, or some other bludgeoning weapon.
Unfortunately, we cannot tell what Disney property the keyblade belongs too just yet. We’ll have to wait for Squre Enix to remove the glowing bits, and finally reveal the Power Form’s weapon.
