Cloud Imperium Games have decided to make their new space-faring sim, Star Citizen, free for the rest of October as part of what they call “Fall 2016 Free Fly“.
The way to participate in this free-to-play trial is simple. Just create a Star Citizen account and use the promo code “FALL2016”. Once you’ve done that, all you need to do is download the game and you too can fly around and explore the cosmos to your heart’s content with the F7C-M Super Hornet spaceship.
Right now, the Star Citizen alpha features space exploration, where you can discover new locations, and space dogfights. The F7C-M Super Hornet is supposedly very useful for both.
The Free Fly event will end on October 30, so you should definitely sign up soon if you want to try out the Hornet and experience the Star Citizen alpha for yourself.
