Dark Horse might have accidentally revealed the final release date of Mass Effect Andromeda. We already knew Mass Effect Andromeda will be released in 2017, but now we might have an exact date.

The comics publisher is offering a new book called The Art of Mass Effect: Andromeda on Amazon. If you look at the listing (through the link or in the screen capture below), you will see the book is currently schedule to be released on March 21, 2017.

By itself, this doesn’t seem so weird. However, if you bother and read the book’s description, you will notice the line “Dark Horse will release The Art of Mass Effect: Andromeda simultaneously with the game!” Now, that’s a big deal. March 21 is a Tuesday – the day in the week most games are released on, a fact that adds credence this might actually be a genuine date.

The same book has a shipping date of “Early 2017” on BioWare’s store, so it seems likely someone dropped the ball when creating the Amazon listing and revealed Mass Effect Andromeda’s release date.

Whether this is the real date or not, all we can say for some is that Mass Effect Andromeda will be out on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One next year. Now go watch the gameplay footage again.
