Batman Arkham VR and the VR experience of Resident Evil 7 are not full exclusive for the PlayStation VR, as everyone originally thought. Both games will reach other VR headsets, eventually.
A new Facebook ad, posted on the official Sony PlayStation page, reveals that the two games are actually timed exclusives. The ad itself is a gif, but you can take a better look at the relevant images below, or on NeoGAF where they were originally posted.
According to the ad, Batman Arkham VR is a PSVR exclusive until the end of March 2017, while Resident Evil 7 will remain an exclusive for an entire year from its release.
While this is admittedly a long time to wait, it’s actually really good news for gamers who already committed to either the Oculus Rift or Vive. They can now breathe easy knowing they too will have the opportunity to don Batman’s cowl and explore creepy mansions in VR.
Batman Arkham VR comes out November 10, and Resident Evil 7: Biohazard January 24.
