Michel Ancel, known as the creator of Beyond Good and Evil and Rayman, is teasing something on his Instagram account that could turn out to be Beyond Good and Evil 2, or even a prequel.
Below you can see the post itself, which is nothing more than a new concept art with the caption: “Somewhere in system 4 … Thanks Ubisoft for making this possible!”
It’s not difficult to see how this image could be related to a future Beyond Good and Evil title. The baby pig can be none other than Uncle Pey’j from the original game, hinting that this new game is actually a prequel. It makes even more sense when you realize the man in the image is a mechanic – just like grown up Pey’j is. We don’t have a lot more to go on, but it’s a start.
Ubisoft has confirmed in the past that Beyond Good and Evil 2 is still in development, and that Ancel is still attached to the project. Is Ubisoft planning an official announcement soon? I really do hope so.
