Since the release of BioShock: The Collection, there have been numerous user complaints about the lack of graphical options, stability issues, and other problems in the PC versions of the remastered games.

In response, 2K Games have promised to add a patch which will sort the following:

  • General Mouse Fixes, including better Mouse Smoothing, Sensitivity and Acceleration Options in BioShock
  • Additional Speaker Mode Options in Audio Settings in BioShock
  • Improved FoV Slider Options in BioShock, BioShock 2 and Minerva’s Den
  • Support for 21:9 display ratios in BioShock, BioShock 2 and Minerva’s Den
  • General stability improvement to reduce instances of game crashes.

Whilst there’s no word on when this update will arrive, it should definitely make life in Rapture smoother for all involved, so it can’t come soon enough.
