In addition to the wealth of other games looking to take advantage of the updated PlayStation 4 Pro, Zenimax online has debuted their 4K trailer for The Elder Scrolls Online.
Separating itself from the herd, The Elder Scroll Online will support Native 4K resolution from day one of the PS4 Pro’s lifespan. The developers took care to mention the “Native 4K” because most of the other games being updated will only receive 4K upscaling from the original 1080p files. ESO, however, will receive a patch that renders the gameplay in native 4K from the console. Zenimax went on to confirmed that players without a 4K monitor will still receive a higher graphical fidelity.
While anyone who owns a copy of The Elder Scrolls Online for the PS4 and upgrades to the Pro will get the enhanced experience, Zenimax is also commemorating this evolution with the re-release of the title. The Elder Scroll Online: Gold Edition, much like the Skyrim re-release, will be packaged with all of the game’s DLC.
As Sony has already announced, every PlayStation 4 title will be playable on any PlayStation 4 console. However, players will still need to upgrade to the PS4 Pro to experience the ultimate version of The Elder Scrolls Online.
The Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Edition and the PlayStation 4 Pro will launch on November 10.
