After promoting Metal Gear Solid V: The Definitive Experience, the official Metal Gear Solid V Twitter account was approached by numerous fans claiming that the ending of Metal Gear Solid 5 was incomplete.
The 50 missions were felt by fans to be lacking several story elements, and excitement grew upon realizing that the Collector’s Edition featured storyboards for an as-of-yet unreleased Mission 51. When asked about this, however, Konami replied stating that Mission 51 would not be released.
@Spindash54 @Konami Mission 51 is additional story content that was cancelled before development finished, but its definitely not the ending
