After promoting Metal Gear Solid V: The Definitive Experience, the official Metal Gear Solid V Twitter account was approached by numerous fans claiming that the ending of Metal Gear Solid 5 was incomplete.

The 50 missions were felt by fans to be lacking several story elements, and excitement grew upon realizing that the Collector’s Edition featured storyboards for an as-of-yet unreleased Mission 51. When asked about this, however, Konami replied stating that Mission 51 would not be released.

The fans demanded, but Konami said that there would be no more developments for Mission 51: it simply wasn’t going to be released.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Definitive Experience will featuring Ground Zeroes and its DLC missions, The Phantom Pain and its DLC items, and many Metal Gear Online item packs. This version of Metal Gear Solid V will be released October 11 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
