Activision has announced it will initiate the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare multiplayer beta on October 14.

Call of Duty fans who pre-order the game on PlayStation 4 will get “first access” to the beta. We’re not quite sure if the beta will then open to all PlayStation 4 gamers, or will be exclusive for those who pre-order the game. We do know, however, that the Xbox One beta still doesn’t have an official date.

The news came out of  Call of Duty XP, the huge event currently taking place in  Inglewood, L.A.

That’s pretty much it. We’ll have more details on the game’s multiplayer mode soon, so be sure to check-in a bit later for all the new information regarding it. You can watch the multiplayer reveal trailer above to get a small taste of the new classes and abilities the mode will offer.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare launches November 4 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
