Bungie has announced Destiny: The Collection. Similar to Taken King Legendary Edition, The Collection features the core Destiny game together with all the expansions released so far. However, this one will also include the upcoming Rise of Iron.
Players who pre-purchase The Collection will be granted access to Destiny, The Dark Below, House of Wolves and The Taken King immediately, but will have to wait until September 20 to play Rise of Iron. Pre-ordering of Destiny: The Collection or just Rise of Iron will net you the black and silver Iron Gjallarhorn, and the Iron Gjallarwing Sparrow.
Although The Collection is unavailable for PS3 and Xbox 360, it is a good opportunity for legacy players to move into the current generation. An upgrade program will run from today until January 31, 2017.
Destiny: The Collection will include the entire saga so far and will launch alongside the Rise of Iron on September 20, for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
