After providing us with more information on Prey, creative director at Arkane Studios Raphael Colantonio sends us back to the game’s reveal trailer to spot some secrets we might have missed.

Colantonio instructs us to pay attention to a certain mug that appears out of nowhere, or how an alien transforms itself into a red chair in the middle of a room. He says these are some serious hints at what the aliens we’ll fight can do. Colantonio also reminds us that the player will be able to learn and use the aliens’ powers against them, so be prepared for some hardcore furniture on furniture action.

Other, probably more impressive powers, will be unlocked as the aliens themselves grow and evolve.

We do hear more about the same’s setting and structure. Unlike Arkane’s hit game Dishonored, Prey will not be separated into level, but rather be one continuous environment. Players will be able to go back to locations there already explored, and encounter new challenges and surprises. We’ll also be able to go outside the space station and walk in zero gravity from airlock to airlock.

The more we hear about Prey, the more we want it to come out. Unfortunately, we still have some waiting to do be fore Prey is released on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2017.
