Inside, the puzzle platformer from Limbo developer Playdead, is possibly making its way to PlayStation 4 as early as next month. A “trusted source” has told VG247 the news, but the studio has yet yo confirm it.

Inside was first released in June, as a console exclusive for the Xbox One. It was then arrived on PC through Steam a week later. PlayStation 4 owners who loved Limbo were left behind to wonder why this atmospheric platformer has passed them by.

Now, the source’s confirmation, coupled with a PS4 Trophy list for the game recently published on Exophase, it seems more than likely PS4 gamers will be able to play Inside this August.

Though we still need to get official word from Playdead or Sony regarding a release date and a price, I think it’s OK to get at least a little bit excited.
