Batman: The Telltale Series is finally making its digital debut later next month with a physical Season Pass disc falling in early September.
The upcoming adventure in Gotham City is set to release its premiere episode on PC, consoles and mobile devices at an unannounced date in August for players who digitally download the title. Like the rest of Telltale’s story adventures, each episode will debut one at a time and combine to tell the overarching story with a few subplots along the way. In the case of Batman, players will receive a five episode story arch with plenty of appearances from Gotham’s rogue gallery.
Warner Bros. Interactive will also be releasing a separate physical version of the game, that will act as a complete Season Pass, on September 13 for the US and September 16 for Europe. Purchasing the disc will ensure that in the future, players can download each episode as it releases. As of now, not much of the game’s story has been revealed, however the developers have stated that plenty of unannounced characters will be unveiled as the story progresses.
Batman: The Telltale Series will begin next month for the PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Xbox One, iOS and Android mobile devices.
