Battlefield 1 is currently running a closed alpha for a few selected players, and thanks to one of them, we now know about all the maps, weapons, gadgets and multiplayer modes the game will launch with, as well as how the single-player campaign is going to look. The leak is pretty extensive, so if you prefer to keep a shroud of mystery over Battlefield 1, you might want to go and read about something else.

Reddit user Lobix300 has published a huge list of details they data-mined from the alpha, including the names of all 10 launch maps and the seven different game modes you’ll be able to play on them. We can see a few returning modes, like Rush, Conquest and Domination, but also a couple new ones.

Maps

  • MP_Amiens
  • MP_Chateau
  • MP_Desert
  • MP_FaoFortress
  • MP_Forest
  • MP_Argonne
  • MP_ItalianCoast
  • MP_MountainFort
  • MP_Scar
  • MP_Suez

Modes

  • GAMEMODE_RUSH
  • GAMEMODE_CONQUEST
  • GAMEMODE_TEAMDEATHMATCH
  • GAMEMODE_BREAKTHROUGH
  • GAMEMODE_DOMINATION
  • GAMEMODE_POSSESSION
  • GAMEMODE_AIRSUPERIORITY

There are also a few details about the campaign, which seems to be divided into 7 episodes, including the prologue and epilogue. Each episode is then divided into 3-4 individual chapters. Chapters have names like “Flight School”, which might introduce the player to the biplanes of WWl; “Out of Gas”, probably a reference to the chemical weapons first used in WWI; and “Gallipoli”, a famous campaign where British and French forces lost to the Ottoman Empire (spoilers).

However, this information doesn’t indicate whether the singple-player campaign will be any good, given DICE’s no-so-stellar history with single-player experience.

The full list on Reddit is much bigger and more detailed than what you see here, listing more than 40 weapons, 20 gadgets, 11 character skins and many other tidbits of information.

Battlefield 1 is coming to PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 21.
