In case you were worried, and didn’t bother to read about my hands-on experience with Gwent at E3 2016 – the same actors who voiced the characters in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will return to do so in the upcoming standalone Gwent title.

“Geralt is Geralt,” game director Benjamin Lee told GamesMaster Magazine. “we always use the same voice actors. Because, you know, it’s very jarring as a player if suddenly Geralt had a different voice, and we would never want to do that.”

The familiar characters, and their iconic voices, will be featured in the game’s single-player campaign, which will last tens of hours. If you’ve curious enough, you can sign in to the game’s beta that should start in September on Xbox One and PC.

Gwent still doesn’t have a release date, but we’re thinking early 2017 is a safe bet.
