Another leak has been chalked up to Rocksteady’s Arkham series as Amazon’s German website has accidentally outed the existence of a Game of the Year edition for Batman: Arkham Knight.
While not as surprising as the new-gen re-release of the original Arkham titles, a game of the year edition for Arkham Knight is never the less exciting for fans of the series. Although the official listing is completely in German, a quick translation reveals that the title will follow the basic formula of previous Batman GOTY editions.
The ad states simply that the game will include all of the DLC that was released for the game. Including everything from the pre-order bonuses all the way up to the Batman v Superman content pack. While it may ultimately mean nothing, the ad does neglect to mention anything about the PlayStation exclusive Scarecrow missions. The last big announcement however, was the July 28 release date.
Although more content is always cool to hear about, what’s curious about this “outing” is the fact that usually, when these things happen, the ad listing is quickly taken down. In this case however, you can still check it out right here. Even more interesting is the fact that Warner Bros. Interactive’s Arkham series has been the subject of a fair few leaks lately, begging the question of whether these are the product of decreased security or simply computer savvy fans who are still mad about the the PC incident.
In any case, fans around the world will hopefully get to enjoy the Batman: Arkham Knight – Game of the Year Edition later this July, only on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
